A macro is a command or script which you define to perform a specific task. For example, you might use the KEYMACRO object to assign a shortcut key to a macro that saves the current file, a task that cannot easily be performed using the Edit, Open, Save and Print commands of a standard Windows application. To use KEYMACRO to perform this task, you must create a shortcut key and associate it with a macro of your own design. A macro has three components: the name of the macro, a text description of the action, and the location of a script file, which is often a VBScript script. The macro name is the unique name of your macro. You must use a name that does not conflict with any other macros. The name must be composed of the following characters: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, underscore, period, hyphen, and double hyphen. The description is a brief textual description of the task to be performed. You must use a brief textual description of no more than 128 characters. The description is limited to the first 256 characters because the description is transmitted to the application when the user presses the key combination. To avoid exceeding the length limitation, use common abbreviations, but keep in mind that the abbreviations might be replaced by a more descriptive label. You can use other characters, but they might cause the shortcut key to be recognized as a standard Windows keyboard shortcut key. The location of the script file is the location of the script file where your macro resides. The script file must be located on the computer where the application that you want to use your key to control is installed. To create a shortcut key, follow these steps: 1.Select the KEYMACRO object from the Controls palette. 2.Right-click the control in the designer, and then select the Properties option from the context menu. 3.Select the Shortcut Key tab in the Properties dialog box that opens. 4.In the Shortcut Key section, enter the name of your key, the description, and the location of your script file. 5.Press the OK button to save your changes. NOTE: KEYMACRO is not available for Visual Basic 6.0 or earlier versions. Note: Windows 10 doesn't recognize the default combination Ctrl-P as a shortcut key for the KEYMACRO control. Instead, 77a5ca646e TwainControlX Keygen For (LifeTime) (2022) Keymacro is an ActiveX component that implements the KEYmacro API in the Macintosh operating system. For more information see below.
